not so good news

So the other day the vet came out to see sparkles due to her foot. Just to put a long story short she has Ringbone.

Ringbone, a lameness disease of the pastern and coffin joints, is a degenerative disorder that has no cure. Fortunately, with treatment and good management, disease progression can be slowed, allowing the horse to remain competitive.

Baby Chicks

The other day I had to stay home for one reason...chicks not just a few but 41 baby chicks. We already bought 8 from tractor supply the other day but these chicks came by mail. They all made it to our house just fine so now we have 49 baby chicks for our farm!

On our farm we have chickens! 15 chickens running around our house some are old like... 4 years old some very young the youngest age we have is only 1 week old!

Sparkles is 14 years old she was my first horse i could ever ride and play with she has one blind eye, she is a wonderful bay horse that god has placed in my life, I only rode her a little bit due to her foot limping, their is suppose to be a vet to come out to see what is wrong i hope it is not to bad.

The other week we God has blessed us with two baby boy goats and boy have they been so much fun with bottle feeding and taking care of them, stud muffin or as people like to call him Mr. Muffin is only 2 1/2 weeks old but Go-Tee is 3 weeks old they love to jump and prance everywhere. I am so thankful that we have these baby boy goats!
